I am looking to upgrade my GPS and my fiance wants a radar detector for christmas. I got to thinking that having an all in one unit would be awesome. They have to exist, right? Does anyone know where I could find them?
I've googled everything I can think of with no success. Thanks for the help.

To my knowledge I haven't seen one as the 2 are very different in how they function.
GPS tells you where you are and where you are going.
Radar detector tells you when a radar gun is being used close by. Check out the link below to see how they work.
Also remember, that while your fiance may want to have this "Radar Detector" to help from getting tickets when he/she is speeding. The cops radar gun is not always on. Meaning if the cop is sitting their waiting to catch you, you won't know until he actually see's you and turns the gun on. Trust me I have been pulled over almost 30 times and I am only 21 most of which was for speeding. I have tried everything to get past this however your best bet is a good eye, or not speeding at all :-).

GPS doesn't use radar. It uses satellites instead.

It'd be nice if they would combine two very useful driving devices together. However, such a unit does not yet exist to my knowledge.
What do you think? Answer below!
