I have never bought a GPS before. I want to spend less than $ 200. I want to use it for GeoCaching and also for assistance with complicated driving routes.
Please tell me what features are important and any suggestions you have. Thanks.

Unfortunately, no one makes a GPS that will do both of these tasks for that amount of money. Your best bet is to buy 2 units. You could get a Garmin Nuvi 200 for $ 129.00 and a Garmin eTrex H for $ 89.99. I can only imagine that you would be extremely happy with these two units. The Nuvi Line of GPS are awesome. I have a Nuvi 760 that I just love. I bought it from Edge GPS which is where I quoted the above prices from. I even have a coupon code for their website that you can use it is "freecash230" and will get you $ 10.00 off.

I use a garmin cx for geocaching. It was under $ 200. I have City Navigator, as mapping software and it works great. The maps are expensive (around $ 100) but necessary. My garmin is a handheld and I use it to drive ALL the time. It is capable of turn-by-turn directions with City Navigator, it beeps when it is time to turn.
Car units just do not work well for geocaching. If you buy a handheld unit just make sure that there is a slot for a micro SD card to store map data.
