Robot using GPS to navigate

This is a small robot of which I put together and coded. It is run by a Basic Stamp 2 microprocessor coded in PBasic. The chassis is an old RC car with all the electronics removed, only wires and motors left. For the GPS data I used a Garmin Foretrex 101 and for object avoidance I used ultrasonic rangers. Still has room for improvement, but it is a good start. ---------------------------------------- Where to buy the electronic parts in the UK: * Controller - Basic Stamp 2 - www.warburtech.com * Ultrasound - Devantec SRF02 - www.warburtech.com or www.active-robots.com * Relays transistors - rswww.com or any electronics/electrical shop * NMEA enabled GPS - Anywhere
