The navigation bar on the side (with layers, colours etc) used to be locked but somehow i can now move it around, how do i get it to lock again? Last time i did this, just moving it over to the side made a blue line appear so it would lock again but this line isn't appearing. How else can i get it to lock?

You have to bring your mouse POINTER to the very right edge when you're trying to dock on the right side. Once your mouse pointer is just about to go to the "border" of the Ps window, the blue line will show up.
